This quarter of the City is one that has been dramatically revamped miraculously in the last ten to fifteen year. It was quite run down, but now has a new lease of life as the trendiest most avant-garde part of the city where the young and trendy love to congregate and make merry. It really is a contemporary hotel with fashionable decor and furnishing. Although it is handy for all sorts of places of interest, there is plenty to keep you in such as  a gym comfortable bar lounge and the Glasshouse restaurant, so named as it is on the site of the old fruit and vegetable market. It serves simple dishes such as Jacket potatoes or Panini’s, a fast and fresh menu, suitable mainly for lunch or a snack, prior to exploring the vicinity.

Location wise if you wish to explore the northern part of the city centre it is perfectly positioned. Close to Victoria station and consequently handy for the National football museum, Exchange shopping area and the Arndale centre. Not to mention that you are in the middle of the trendiest part of town with its independent bars, restaurants and live music venues.
